My 73-year-old driver has cancer, and after arriving at 9:30 p.m. he found every door locked. My company had already paid in full for his room. When management called back, they said they weren’t getting out of bed or getting dressed to let him in, then hung up. He ended up sleeping in his broken truck through the winter. The following week, I called to ask why there had been no staff on site and what the policies were. I was upset about the customer service and asked for the manager. The man on the phone asked who I was and what I wanted. When I asked if he was the manager, he started yelling. I tried to explain I wasn’t mad and only had questions before booking more rooms, but he kept talking over me. I recorded the call before he hung up and plan to share it on social media. He never gave me his name, but the manager is Joginder. As a business owner, I couldn’t believe how he spoke to me. I don’t know how this place is still operating, and I hope it gets shut down, or worse. I feel for the hard-working Canadians trying to keep their businesses running well. Shame, shame, shame.

After our breakdown in Fox Lake, we stayed here for the first time. The rooms were really comfortable, and the owner gave great service. Definitely a good spot to keep in mind if you need a place. 👍

Joginder was especially attentive, and the service was excellent and very accommodating. The hotel’s in a good location. The room was pretty simple, but it did what we needed.

We were in touch with the owner while travelling and let them know we’d be arriving late. They made sure we could check in when we got there. My coworker and I stayed at the Kettle Inn for a week while we were up for work, and they were kind and thoughtful the whole time, going beyond what we expected. Thanks for a great stay. We’ll be back!.

Hardeep made me traditional Indian food even though they were short on kitchen staff because of the huge labour shortage. The rooms and beds were very clean, and when noise from other guests became a concern, they dealt with it quickly. You can tell they care about guests being comfortable. I’d highly recommend staying here. If I come back to town, this’ll be my go-to place.
