Comfort Inn & Suites

We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years, and it’s a nice place, but the bathroom fans and makeup air have never worked. That leaves humidity problems in the bathrooms, and unpleasant smells from other rooms come through the vents. I believe this is against the ontario building code.

We’ve stayed at Comfort Inns across North America several times over the past few years, and this was our least favorite. When we checked in, no one recognized us as gold members going on Platinum members. The A/C only worked on manual, and it was so loud when running that we couldn’t sleep. They also charged a $10 per night Hotel service fee and Destination fee for things like parking and towel service?

The rooms were clean and nice, with plenty of extra towels, which came in handy for the pool. There’s 24-hour gym access, too. Great service.

We paid $273 including taxes for a Sunday night, and the place was decent, but I don’t think it was worth nearly $400 for one night. We’d planned to stay Saturday, but that rate was $120 plus taxes more. The hotel and rooms were clean and basic, as was the included continental breakfast. The indoor pool being closed for maintenance came as a surprise and was a big letdown for our son. This was our first stay at this Comfort Inn.
