The room had everything we needed for a one-night stay, the beds were comfortable, and it was very quiet at night, with no outside noise. Dunlop Motel sits in a peaceful, open setting that feels farm-like. There’s a barbecue and seating area out front, which added a nice touch. The owner was kind, and he even checked with a previous guest to make sure they weren’t still coming before offering us the last room on a long weekend. He and his family live on-site, so they were easy to reach. I’d been hesitant about a motel, but this was a lovely surprise. I’d happily recommend Dunlop Motel for a simple, clean, friendly stay in the area.

The property, lawns, and rooms were immaculately kept, and the owners were extremely nice, helpful, and attentive. We had a scheduled hydro outage on our last morning, and the owner went around the rooms the day before with jugs of water and made sure everyone knew about it. They even stayed up to accommodate our very late check-in. It’s a bit out of the way from shops and things to do, but you’re fine if you have a car. I’m sure we’ll be back.

We took a chance on this little roadside motel because we couldn’t camp at Point Farms, and it turned out really well. The owner was so nice, and the room was lovely, huge, and very clean. It was well kept and had a microwave, fridge, and really comfortable beds. We’d definitely stay again.

It’s a very clean, well-run 70s-style motel with some recent upgrades. I was impressed by how clean the mattress and linens were, and our bed had a bed bug protector. I’d stay here again anytime.

The room was spacious, with comfortable beds, and the motel is exceptionally clean and well appointed. The whole property is open, with a sheltered spot for picnic tables and a barbecue. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I’d recommend it.
