Sundance Cottages

The team was available at a moment’s notice whenever we had a concern or issue. It’s a perfect location, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone. Especially good for families!

We liked the cabins so much that we extended our stay. They were clean, thoughtfully laid out, well priced, and had good parking. There’s a basketball hoop, I believe a volleyball net too, plus two play structures set in sand. The pool looked great, but it was being cleaned before opening, and we were compensated for that. The owner has lots of DVDs to borrow, and the cabins have TVs with cable. Staff were lovely and very helpful. You’re right in the heart of cavendish, just minutes from some great local spots. We’ll book with Sundance cottages again when we return to PEI.

The cabins have plenty of space, with wifi, satellite TV, AC, a fridge, stove, bathrooms, and decks with a BBQ, chairs, and a picnic table. There’s a pool, bicycles to use on site, movies to rent at the office, and a laundry mat. A few things could be improved: the basketball court needs pavement and the broken net should be replaced. There wasn’t a volleyball net, either. It would also be nice to have a firepit at each cabin, since there was only one large one in the middle and it could feel like a race to use it.

The staff were very helpful, and DVDs were available to rent from the main office. Our clean, beautiful cabin had everything we needed to cook meals, and there was a nice fire pit on site, though you’ll need to bring your own firewood. We’ll definitely come back in the summer.
