Le Héron - Studios Nature

We only had one night here, though I wish we could've stayed a week. The place was pristine and had everything needed to make our own meals, and the staff were so warm and friendly. We also visited the nearby natural history museum, Marais de la rviere des cerises.

We booked several apartments across the whole property, which gave our family room to spend time together while keeping our own spaces. Everyone could move around freely and enjoy both Jacuzzis, the playground, and the various patios. The animal-themed art in the hallways and apartments made the place feel especially welcoming, and the board games cabinet was a hit with kids and adults alike. The apartments had the basic kitchen supplies, clean bedding and towels, and sofa beds that were surprisingly comfortable. A couple of things could be improved: the plain white key cards were easy for family members to mix up, so apartment numbers on the cards or holders would help. Also, the shampoo ran out after just three people showered. It would be good to refill the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel after each stay. From check-in through the day we left, we had a wonderful stay. It’s modern and spotlessly clean, and only a short walk from the beach and the center of Magog. I’d highly recommend it for families or groups looking for a relaxing getaway.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it twice and changed our vacation plans. Thank you all, especially Bernard, for being so kind and helpful. The accommodations were clean, quiet apart from the train horn at night, comfortable, and very well equipped. The area is scenic and relaxing, with plenty of places to walk through woods and around lakes, wetlands, and mountains. There’s a wonderful organic supermarket nearby, plus an amazing vegetarian supermarket in Magog. We’ll absolutely be back!

We made good use of the hot tub after skiing, and the location worked perfectly for exploring Magog and heading to Mt Orford. The suite was gorgeous, with a separate bedroom, full kitchen, living area and gas fireplace, plus an impressive bathroom with a tub and large shower. Fabulous stay.
