After biking from Grand Pre, seven of my girlfriends and I arrived last night to a very clean, welcoming house. The owner was hilarious and easy to chat with, always joking around, and we had lots of laughs. We were left to our own devices for the night and explored every inch. Following the hosts' directions, we knocked three times before heading to the third floor so the otherworldly resident could hide first 😉. We spent the evening sitting on the lovely porch with a drink. Breakfast was great too: eggs made to order, muffins, scones, fruit salad, and coffee, tea, and juice. We'd definitely recommend this B&B to travelers.

Charlie was an amazing host, and each room had its own ensuite bathroom. We were right across from Fort Anne, and breakfast was eggs, bacon, and toast. The beds were comfy and the place was very clean. I highly recommend this B&B. A note about the coachhouse room: it's behind the house, above the garage, and spacious, but the shower has a very sloped ceiling. I couldn't use it. I'm adding pictures. Still, it's a great choice.

We stayed in the small cabin in the backyard last night. The owner was away and left the keys on the door, so we didn't meet him until breakfast. Charlie seemed welcoming to the other guests, but that changed when he met us. It was immediately clear my children weren't welcome. He made a few remarks about their “mucky fingers” and didn't want them eating at the “main table,” even though there was plenty of space. We barely ate and hurried out feeling very uncomfortable. My children are extremely well behaved, and I'd never return.

We really enjoyed the clean, comfortable room, and the air conditioner was much appreciated. This beautiful B&B is right in the heart of Annapolis Royal, perfectly placed for the Fort, Weekend Market, and other outings. Breakfast was delicious.

We stayed in a beautiful Victorian home, and the location was great. The host was very friendly.
