Paul and Rung made us feel at home right away. Rang was so kind and welcoming, and I could have talked to Paul all day while learning about local history and beyond. This place is a true haven for unwinding from the daily grind, with a beautiful location and such warm hospitality. It’s a gem I almost don’t want to review because I want it all to myself! We’ll be back often.

We’ve stayed at the Swan more than a dozen times while visiting relatives in Minden. The rooms are beautiful, the hosts are great, and the house sits in a gorgeous setting. I may be biased by now, but it’s the best B&B within 100 miles of Minden. You won’t find anything comparable. Lol

The complimentary canoe ride was a highlight, and we’ll definitely be back. Paul and Rung welcomed us so warmly and suggested lots of local things to see and do over the weekend. Their home is full of history, which we loved learning about. The room was lovely, the breakfast fresh and delicious, and Minden is a cute little town. What a gem in the Haliburton Highlands! ❤️

Paul & Runapa are amazing hosts who notice even the smallest details. We stayed for 3 nights in August, then came back to see the fall colours, and we’ll definitely stay here again. The antiques and architecture are wonderful, and there are modern conveniences too. Breakfast was amazing and included. Thankyou for making our stay great!
