Winter there felt like a wonderland, and we had a wonderful stay at Copper Horse Lodge. Our room had lovely views and a really comfortable bed, with everything we needed.

The sauna tucked among the trees was lovely, and there's a cozy fireplace in the main lodge area. They also have great gear storage. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it's a quick walk to the base. Probably my favorite place I've stayed in Golden. I'd recommend it.

We had a great time at copper horse lodge. Our room was just right, really comfortable and immaculately clean. The restaurant downstairs was very good too. It's only a short walk to the gondola, and the sauna was a lot of fun.

The rooms and location were great, and everything was very clean with thoughtful touches. I loved the Christmas scene playing on the TV when we arrived. Booking was a nightmare, though. After booking, they told us to use their app but didn't send the link. Reception closed at 6pm, and they didn't reply to messages until the following day, which was stressful. They also said the restaurant would be closed, but it was open.

My husband and I stayed one night. The lodge and our room were excellent, spotless and had a fantastic view. It's quiet and in a nice location, with a very good self-service breakfast. I'd definitely recommend it.
