Lake Lauzon Resort and Marine

Sitting on the docks and looking out over that breathtaking lake was such a peaceful way to spend time. The cabins feel like a step back to a simpler time, with just a few nice, respectful neighbors around. We enjoyed the hand-dipped ice cream and swimming in the clean, beautiful lake. The owners go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. We visit the area often and will definitely stay here again. Thanks for going above and beyond for our family!

We stopped at Lake Lauzon for brunch on our way from Agawa to Toronto. It was a peaceful Monday morning, and the place itself was clean. The washrooms were another story, though. If you drop something on the floor in there, it's so gross you won't want to pick it up. There's no entrance fee. This is a public place you can enjoy for free, not a hotel or resort.

Blind River was fully booked, so we ended up trying this resort while working out of town. We're usually in hotels or motels, but this turned out to be our best stay. The owners were amazing, the beds were unbelievable, and everything was remarkably clean. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT! 5 stars!

The sauna on the dock was amazing, and the resort was still a lovely, relaxing place. The rooms were very nice and clean. Just be aware that traffic from HWY 17 can be noisy, especially in cottages 1 to 4.
