The place smelled foul, the location was bad, and upkeep seemed nonexistent. The rooms are falling apart, and the bathtub was covered in scum. They give you lousy free shampoo and conditioner, and the staff weren't friendly. We stayed two nights, but our room wasn't made up after the first night. I wouldn't let my dogs sleep here, and I'm not coming back. I'd urge people to pay a little more for somewhere cleaner. It's a junky hole, and I do not recommend it. I was so disappointed. Sleeping in my car would've been better!

The shower kept swinging from cold to VERY hot, which was uncomfortable. The beds weren't comfortable either, and at the price, that was a letdown. We left our good pillows in the room and called a couple of hours after we were out of town, but they didn't seem interested in looking for them, let alone calling back. Each time I ring, they have to ask for my number again because they've lost it since the previous call. The main woman I've spoken with doesn't seem to care.

The listing showed free breakfast and a hot tub, but the breakfast was only toast or cereal, and the hot tub wasn't working. There was no hot water in the rooms, so we had to go without showers. The coffee maker was dirty inside, and the sheets were stained. While we were out, they turned on the heat. When we got back, my backpack was melting against the heater. That's my fault for leaving it there, but we hadn't felt the need to turn the heat on. Two chairs were touching the heater too, and their legs were burnt at the back. That's a big fire hazard. We left by 6 the next morning and would rather have had Tim Hortons for breakfast.

Our first room was 133. When we opened the door, either someone else was still in there or it hadn't been made up that day. They moved us to room 257A, and OMG, what a dump. It was filthy. I checked the bed for bedbugs and pulled off the sheets, which were so old they were yellow. The mattress looked like it had dried vomit stains, and the comforter was stiff from age. The bathtub was dirty, there was a glass in the kitchenette cupboard with a dried drink in it, and all the chairs were stained and filthy. It looked like someone had thrown a chair through the screen. Stay away from this place.

We stopped here overnight on the way from Vancouver to Edmonton. It was basic, but cheap and did the job. I missed having a mini fridge in the room and had to throw out some leftovers. The shower pressure was good, the WiFi worked fine, and the stay was decent, nothing fancy.
