Heather Mountain Lodge

We made the call to stay here at the last minute, and it became one of the highlights of our trip. I don’t eat meat, so the chef went out of their way to make me an amazing vegan dish, while the dinner menu had plenty that looked great for the two carnivores in my family. We took our time over dinner in a gorgeous setting and watched a beautiful sunset. The staff were amazing, too. We didn’t have time to try the spa, so we’ll have to come back. I’ve already been telling people this is a must stop. We loved it!

We really liked the spacious room, big bathroom and view from our little balcony, and the lodge itself was lovely. The location is stunning and the rooms are beautiful. The food could have been better for a five star stay, though. The sides were too fatty, the service felt rather slow, and given the price, we were missing that extra wow.

The staff were incredible when we were setting up for a wedding celebration that ran over a couple of days. They went above and beyond to make it a blast, and seemed to be having as much fun as we were during the event. I was a bridesmaid, and the venue felt perfect for the occasion, with a cozy ski chalet atmosphere in the main building. I’d definitely recommend booking this location for private events.

We had a great stay, and the staff were friendly throughout. Everyone seemed happy to work there. Our room was spacious and clean, with a great view of some mountains from Glacier National Park. The dining room has a beautiful view too, and the food was great. They wood-fire as much as they can, including trout, elk, steaks, and other goodies. Highly recommend staying here.
