Whitewater Lodge

The place was incredibly clean, with spotless rooms, and the owners were lovely. The hot tub is perfectly situated for mountain views. The owner suggested Eleven22 for dinner and gave us a 10% off coupon. The food was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

There wasn’t a TV in the room, but we had board games and a hot tub to enjoy, and really, the outdoors is where you want to be. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of options. Everything was clean and well kept, and all the staff on site were friendly and super helpful. I loved my stay. If you want to support local entrepreneurs and have a clean, cozy place to stay, I’d highly recommend it!

The staff were very friendly, and the place is cute and looks nice, but I couldn’t sleep or enjoy the room because the walls are so thin. I could hear the people next door talking all night. I’d assumed that because of Covid rooms wouldn’t be fully booked, or at least guests would be spread out, but there were people right beside me. It’s also pricey for what you get. You could get a hotel with more space and actual soundproofing for the same or less. I won’t stay here again.

Before it became a hotel, this place was a museum, and the owner deserves credit for its unusual design. Breakfast was included, and I enjoyed it: fresh fruit, an egg and potato scramble straight from the oven, plus good coffee and tea. I didn’t get to talk to many people on staff, but the ones I did meet clearly cared about their guests.
