The place was spacious and nice, though a bit cold, and I couldn't tell whether the heating was working. The manager/owner came into our unit in the middle of the night while we were asleep, which was weird, and he was also loud around midnight. That's why I gave it only three stars.

The price and location were spot on, and I really like the idea behind this place. Staff were friendly, too. It could use a deep clean and some updating, though. The bed felt a bit firm, but I still really enjoyed the stay.

The host was friendly and easy to work with, and breakfast was really good. It feels a lot like an AirBnB, with the whole house to yourself, including a huge shared space and kitchen. There’s a fireplace too, and the room was lovely in a very quiet neighborhood. The one thing that needs work is the internet: upload speed was just 1 Mbit/s, so it took us more than two days to get all our photos onto GooglePhotos.

There’s a gorgeous river just beyond the backyard. The place itself is spacious and has plenty of washrooms, though a few of the bathtubs were slow to drain.

I only wish they had A/c, though it wasn’t too bad without it. The place was lovely, and each room has its own washroom.
