Shoreside Inn & Suites

We ended up staying for more than three weeks, partly because Naseem went out of her way to keep us happy. Kiran was friendly, took responsibility well, and was helpful whenever we needed something. The other motel guests were pleasant too, and the stay was relaxing. The pet room we had was comfortable enough, though dated and needing repairs. You can't expect a motel to be perfect, but their customer service is top notch.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure my needs were taken care of, and the service was top-notch. I was in town for a conference on the lake, so the Shoreside Inn and Suites was a great fit for its location and easy access. I had a wonderful stay and am looking forward to coming back to the Shoreside Inn and Suites on Wabamun Lake.

We had to cancel the anniversary getaway after a death in the family, and I contacted them as soon as I could. They still charged us for one night's stay. I thought it must be a mistake when I got in touch, but they wouldn't reverse the charge. There was no notice about what to do in that situation and no empathy or care, just greed. We'll never vacation here again.

The next morning, the onsite manager apologized and said they had dealt with the person next door after checking the onsite security cameras, so there should be no noise the following night. I appreciated the effort to talk it through and assure me they were handling it. The room was clean, comfortable, and decent looking, with restaurants and groceries within walking distance. But from 1:30am to 5:30am, the neighbors were partying, opening and shutting doors, and singing. With nobody at the front desk to call, I didn't get any sleep. You can't always control who rents the room next to you.
