The house is incredible, rebuilt with so much love in every detail, and every room is beautiful. They really do share their home with you, and you'll want to come back again and again. You'll also fall in love with their dog Chief 😍 We loved it so much that we told our fantastic, kind, lovely host Vahid we wanted to move in forever 😍 See you! Daniel & Katrin

Breakfast is served daily, with fresh fruit, cereal, granola bars, eggs, fresh jams for the croissants, juices, and specially coffees. Nearby shops, restaurants, and pubs are an easy walk away. The super hosts make you feel right at home in this gorgeous three-story mansion. It's in "The Gates," where you feel safe and secure. You can enjoy the home's well-preserved history along with updates that make you feel pampered. It really feels like staying like royalty.

Vahid even let me host my Winnipeg family for an order-in dinner, with eight of us gathered in the beautiful living and dining rooms. It was perfect. I also loved being greeted by Chief when I came back in the evening and at breakfast. I was lucky to spend four days and three nights at this beautiful, charming, well-appointed property. The central location worked perfectly for where I needed to be. Vahid was incredibly kind and went out of his way to make my stay the best. Breakfast was delicious, and the shared space was fun for chatting with the other guests. My bedroom suite had everything I needed, including lovely shampoo and conditioner, an amazingly comfortable bed, a great shower, a heated bathroom floor, and incredibly soft towels. The fish wallpaper in the downstairs bathroom was my absolute favorite. A fabulous stay, 10 out of 10, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Winnipeg.

The hosts were lovely, and the spacious room had a super comfortable king-size bed. No. 5 East is a resplendent heritage mansion in an upscale neighbourhood right on the river, with stately Old-World style, gleaming dark wood, and elegant decor. Shops and restaurants are walkable, and major attractions are a short drive away. I had a wonderful three-day stay and highly recommend it.
