Canad Inns Destination Centre Polo Park

I came to Winnipeg for work and really needed a quiet place to focus. When I raised the noise issue, Front Office Manager Mandy Wong listened and personally arranged a much quieter room on the 6th floor. I slept better than I have in a long time and was able to stay sharp at work the next day. She handled everything efficiently and professionally, and it meant a lot to have someone take my concern seriously. This made my stay excellent, and I'd recommend the hotel to business travelers. I hope management recognizes Mandy Wong's contribution and leadership.

The room was tidy, clean, and well cared for, though the bathroom was a little small. Staff at the front desk were friendly, polite, professional, and knew their stuff. The assistant guest service manager ran the desk with real confidence, and it was clear she was very good at her job. I also found the services and amenities welcoming and professionally managed. I booked as a walk-in during an early October visit to Winnipeg, and the reservation process went smoothly. I'll be back in April and plan to reserve here again.

I've traveled a lot as a flight attendant, and I've never seen a pool area this disgusting. There was hair floating in the water, a dirty bandaid around the pool, earplugs on the floor, and dirty towels and garbage everywhere. I went back the next morning and it still hadn't been cleaned overnight. Then the security guard switched off all the lights, leaving us to find our things and make our way upstairs in the dark. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. It absolutely blew my mind.

The guy at the front desk was really nice and helpful when we talked to him. They offered us an upgraded room, which worked out great for us, and the kids had fun in the pool.
