Rooms at Riveredge

The staff were quick, professional, friendly, and very helpful, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and super clean. It’s ideally located for walking to local sights and restaurants. Skiers should know it’s a bit far from the slopes. This is the place I’d choose in Golden, BC.

We stumbled on this place while in golden and had a really good stay. It’s right by the river, with an easy walk to everything you need in town. There’s no front desk, and the rooms are fully equipped, more like an Airbnb setup. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond by text, and there were lots of extras in the room. We’ll plan to stay here again when we’re in Golden.

Being right on the riverbank was the best part of our family stay at Rooms at Riveredge. Our two young kids spent ages skipping stones and exploring just outside the door, and those moments meant a lot to us. We also woke up to a stunning view of the Kicking Horse River and the mountains. The place was clean and modern, and the location was spot on. We’d highly recommend it to families visiting Golden.

We were disappointed that the snacks and drinks in the room cost extra, since there was no note about the charge. The virtual front desk told me they were $2.00 each after I asked. A little information in the room would have helped. We also couldn’t find instructions for the TV, and the bathroom door made a lot of noise and needs lubricant. Apart from those things, the rooms were quiet, nicely done, and in a very convenient location. They seemed to have thought of nearly everything.
