A nice place for the price. I stayed one night, and there was a good breakfast option in the morning.

It’s an older motel, but the place feels cozy and charming. The room was comfortable and clean, and the towels were the fluffiest I’ve ever had at a motel or hotel. A lovely little spot to stay.

John is the real highlight. He remembers guests and takes time to talk with them. I ended up chatting with him over breakfast for an hour. The continental breakfast had plenty to choose from, and everything was very clean. It was comfortable and felt like a home away from home. This is my new go-to in Claresolm. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Michael, the owner, gave us outstanding service and helpful local tips. We got a spacious room with a kitchenette for a very reasonable price, and the continental breakfast was high quality. The kids loved the range of a dozen cereals, and there were bagels, juices, and coffee too. It may be listed as a 3-star motel and isn’t luxurious, but it felt like a 5-Star stay to us. I’d recommend Lazy J to anyone staying a night or more in Claresholm.

For a budget hotel, the furnishings were adequate, parking was good, and breakfast was better than I expected. It wasn’t the Hilton, but it was great value. They set expectations modestly and delivered more than I thought they would.
