Sandman Hotel Red Deer

I had a great stay at the Sandman Hotel in Red Deer. Dayton at the front desk was especially friendly, kind, and efficient. He made check-in feel smooth and welcoming, and his professionalism and positive attitude stood out. It's appreciated when staff make an effort to help guests feel comfortable. Thanks, Dayton, you made a great impression and are a real asset to the hotel. I'd happily stay again.

We'd happily stay again and recommend this hotel. Hicham made our trip feel special by surprising us with a room upgrade. From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, kind, and attentive, and went out of his way to make the stay enjoyable. His professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care for guests stood out. Thanks again, Hicham, for such great service.

The suite gave us the room we needed to work, prep meals, and stay organized over competition weekend. For an event or longer trip, having that extra living room and kitchen space makes a huge difference. I'd booked a standard king for my bodybuilding competition in Red Deer, then my husband decided to come at the last minute, so I realized we'd need more space and a kitchenette for meal prep. Dayton at the front desk upgraded us to a suite at no extra charge, which took a lot of stress off me. Check-in was quick and professional. Dayton was friendly, polite, and clearly cared that we were comfortable. Service like that is getting harder to find. Thank you for going above and beyond and turning what could've been a cramped, stressful weekend into an enjoyable stay. Sandman is lucky to have him. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay and will be back. Dayton helped us check in early, which we really appreciated. The one downside was that we were given a queen instead of the king we'd booked, and nobody told us about the change. It didn't ruin the stay, though. Also, the bathroom fan didn't clear the steam from the shower. Thanks, Sandman!
