I’ve been here almost five days and still haven’t had room service or towels, and I’m down to the last bit of toilet paper. I feel like I’m in a holding cell. There are cigarette burns in the comforter, a ring around the tub, and a liquid-shaped stain on the TV screen. I’d already paid, and I don’t have a key to my room. When I first arrived, the man at the desk was unhappy and barely understood my question. He messed up my reservation, blamed me, and threatened to call the police when I was just trying to tell him I had a pet. I let it go and called the front desk to apologize, only to learn it was his mistake. Around 4 pm I returned and was escorted to my room. When I asked whether my pet was allowed, he looked confused. I went down in an elevator that barely worked and was told to wait in the hallway outside my room. After 20 minutes he came out of the scary elevator, told me to follow him, and took me to a room at the very end of the hotel.

The pool was nice and fun to swim in, and the beds were very clean. I found a few dead bugs behind the bed, but nothing on it. I couldn’t really find anything else wrong with the room, and the rooms are updated even though the building itself is older. At first I was skeptical because hardly anyone was staying there, and the reviews had me worried. The staff turned out to be friendly and happy to help. Cleanliness probably won’t bother you unless you’re a clean freak. I’ve stayed in much worse rooms, though it’s not the place I’d pick for a birthday party or New Year’s Eve. It’s a good stop if you’re passing through.

We came from out of town as a couple for an appointment and found the hotel very pet friendly. The suites were clean and spacious, with everything we needed, and we always find the beds comfortable. The pool stays warm, clean, and well maintained. It was quiet, the wifi was good, and the place had been newly renovated with spank brand new beds. Staff were friendly and respectful. For the price, we’d stay again.

My mother had to change rooms three times because the air conditioning didn't work in any of them, and the heat made them unbearable. She didn't stay overnight, but I was still charged for the room. When I called to ask if I could get at least half refunded, they said the manager would call me. No one ever did. A really bad experience. I'd give zero stars if I could.

I took a chance on this Travelodge even though I'm from the USA and had been hesitant to stay at one. I'm glad I did. The room was clean, roomy, and had everything I needed, plus a very big bed and hot water. The pool was really warm, and the staff were friendly. It was the best value for what I paid. I wasn't a Wyndham Hotel fan before, but this stay changed my mind.
