Red Deer Resort & Casino

The casino was spacious, and the entertainment area had good visibility. We ate there that evening and again the next morning, and the food was fantastic. Try the calamari! We were treated like kings, with accommodating staff who went above and beyond. Smiles were everywhere, management spoke with us, and the security and hospitality staff were all great. We stayed on New Year's Eve and can't wait to return.

I hadn't spent much time in Red Deer and didn't know the area well, but everyone was so friendly and helpful, from liquor store clerks and housekeepers to the people bringing food, coffee, and other drinks. The staff here are phenomenal humans, and I'm grateful for such a lovely stay with my union, UFCW Local 401, for the Superstore summit. The catered breakfast, lunch, and dinner were delicious and very well made, way better than the Edmonton expo center. 13/10, would definitely stay again :)

Front desk service here was not friendly or helpful. They'd take personal calls before assisting me, then get mad when I asked for help and act like I was bothering them. One woman was rude and seemed to want to have power over me. I don't recommend this hotel at all. Please get new front desk staff. Zero stars if I could.

Our first room, 1401, was right by the elevator, noisy, smelled of exhaust, and had dead flies all through it. We called the front desk, and they moved us. I appreciated that, and the front desk staff were helpful and courteous. We were here for a company Christmas party. The food was okay but didn't have much variety, and the event staff looked annoyed. The hotel rooms are very worn and showing their age.
