The room itself was clean and nice, and the building looked high-end from outside. But despite the way it was advertised and how it looked, the room felt cheap. The bed was broken and needed a lot of maintenance to meet the standard the place seemed to promise. When I arrived on May 10, 2025, there wasn't any sign showing where the main entrance was, so I had to walk around the building. Once checked in, all I'd asked was for a clean room.
The beds are comfortable, the rooms are nice and clean, and the TV is large and good. A fireplace in every room is a nice plus. It's been a good stay.
We had a quiet two-day stay and could sleep without interruptions. The whole room was very clean, the kitchenette was excellent, and we liked the new flooring with no carpet. Best of all, the beds were new and very comfortable. The price was especially affordable for us as seniors, and every staff member was friendly and accommodating. This is one of the nicest places we've stayed anywhere in Canada. We'll return, and I'd highly recommend it.
I spent a week in a lovely, spacious kitchenette room, and the laundry and cleaning services were excellent. The one problem was the check-in mix-up. I booked in May for July and confirmed a week ahead that my room would be ready, but a man who'd been in that room since April was still there on check-in day. They moved me to a different room instead. Otherwise, it was an excellent stay, though the front desk seemed disorganized.
The room upgrade was a treat, especially with a jacuzzi in the room, and breakfast was a great start to the day. The price was good, and I'd definitely come back if I'm in Red Deer again. Everyone we met was friendly, kind, and helpful, from the night staff to the manager, who was such a kind woman. They really wanted to make sure we had a positive stay.
