The quiet, peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax, and the staff were so cheerful, kind, and helpful that I felt like a valued guest instead of a customer. It has more of a cozy guesthouse feel than a hotel. You leave your shoes at the entrance and put on the indoor slippers they provide, a small touch that made the place feel especially clean and comfortable. The whole stay felt like visiting a friend who really looked after me. I’ve stayed in lots of hotels, but this is the only one where I truly felt at home. It was a memorable, peaceful experience, and I’d give it every one of its five stars. When I left, I was already thinking, “When can I come back?” ✨

A great find. The family suite was just right for the three of us, with everything we needed and then some. We were there January 16th and 17th, just passing through to look for fresh powder, and wished we could’ve stayed longer. Meda was a charming host with a lovely sense of humour.

The chairs out back look toward Mount 7, with clouds halfway up the mountain, and the Columbia River is right beside the lodge. It’s a gorgeous setting, with plenty of nature around the house. We spotted animals from cute groundhogs to bears, though they tend to steer clear of people. Inside, the house is exceptionally spacious, clean, and beautiful, with a welcoming, homey feel. The gravel road on the way in might be a little disappointing, but the house itself is a wonderful surprise. Staff give you a thorough tour, explaining the different areas and the history of the house. It was an unforgettable stay, and I’ll definitely be back.

Breakfast felt a bit too basic for me and could use some improvement, though I enjoyed my stay overall. The place is cozy and well run, with friendly, helpful staff. Inside, the decor is beautifully done and much nicer than the exterior suggests.
