Addison's Bungalows

Cinnamon, the owners’ dog, was such a joy. She comes over to greet you in the morning, and we loved seeing her. We booked two separate cabins as two couples, four of us in all, and couldn’t have been happier. The hosts were really kind and accommodating, and the cabins were amazing. I’m 6’6”, so the shower felt a little low, but it did the job just fine. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a great stay in a quiet spot with lovely views, and the cabins are far enough from the neighbours that you can do your own thing. The jacuzzi out back is a great extra, and the cabins have everything you need. The owners were warm and welcoming. They even helped us sort out some automotive technical issues so we could get home safely. Highly recommend!

The outdoor hot tub was the only part of our stay we enjoyed. We spent four nights in cabin 5 during the second week of July 2025, and we wouldn’t return. The place was rundown and dirty when we arrived, and we had to spend a long time cleaning. My wife was in tears and refused to shower there. We didn’t leave because the booking cost $248 a night and wasn’t refundable. The toilet and bathroom sink looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. There were ants, spiders, cobwebs, mosquitoes, and flies inside, and the window screen had a big tear. It was +33c with no air conditioning, which made sleeping difficult. We bought our own coffee maker, cutlery, dish rack, and paper plates so we wouldn’t have to use theirs. We’ve stayed in rustic cabins before, and they can be enjoyable when they’re clean and maintained. I’d only asked for propane for the BBQ. The person who brought a replacement tank seemed worried that our enclosed motorcycle trailer might be stolen. In the owner’s response, they made it sound as if I’d asked for more, which I hadn’t. The cabin was filthy and disgusting. I left an accurate account so others can decide for themselves, and that response should warn people too.

The hot tub is a gem after a long day of hiking, and the place feels wonderfully private. Our dogs were happy wandering around and making a new friend in Cinnamon. It really feels like a getaway. I love this place!
