The location near Old Port makes HPG hotel a great value if you want to stay within walking distance without spending too much. I spent three nights here and really enjoyed them. The host and owner were gracious and welcoming, the room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

The location was the best part, close to downtown but far enough away from the chaos. We stayed over the long weekend last month and had a good time. The rooms were average and nothing special, which we already knew and didn’t mind since we spent most of our days exploring the city. The hotel wasn’t fancy, and I got a cool picture from our view.

We stayed in the apartment room and it was awesome, with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and a washer dryer in the bathroom. It was dog friendly, which was perfect, and reasonably priced for what you get. They also provided a parking ticket for 24 hours, which was super helpful. Really great place to stay in Montreal. Will book again!

Michael let me in well before check-in so I could work in my room, and he makes a delicious cup of coffee. The service was amazing, and I’m very grateful for the lovely experience. The hotel is spectacular, a quiet and lovely boutique in the best part of Griffintown.

We booked all 6 rooms for family and held an event in the Secret Garden about two weeks ago. The private backyard and rooms both showed how much care had gone into making guests feel at home. The set up was incredible, with a rural feel right in the middle of downtown. They were flexible about the decor we needed to install for the event. The host responded quickly to messages and could be on site within minutes. Prices were really reasonable for the location. Definitely recommend!
