Best Western Plus Sherwood Park

The staff were friendly, the hotel and pool were clean, and the included breakfast was very good. The main room issue was the “suite”: both the living area and the suite itself felt tiny, and the living room was so poorly lit it reminded me of a prison. With the entry door opening straight into that room beside the hallway, there was hardly any privacy. We were told the pool was open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., but it was closed for maintenance for at least an hour at 8 a.m. on both mornings. That’s tough with kids who wake early and want to swim after breakfast. Pool cleaning or maintenance could be done during closed hours.

I had a very good stay in this clean hotel. The staff made sure my requests were taken care of, and breakfast was good and complimentary. One room light kept strobing and the electrical switch lit up too, which concerned me a bit, so I stuck to using the lamps.

Whenever we have an appointment in the Edmonton area, we stay at the Sherwood Park location. It’s one of our top four places to stay in Canada. The hotel is clean and well organized, and the staff are polite and genuinely caring.

The pool was clean and a good temperature, and the hot tub was roomy and relaxing. Breakfast was plentiful, the location suited my needs perfectly, and my room was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed, firm pillows, and great water pressure. The friendly staff offered me a couple of bottles of water, which I appreciated. No complaints at all, management has things well in hand.
