It felt like a nature getaway among the greenery, though downtown was only 6 mins away. Our grocery trip took about 7 mins, and we also found the best sourdough at a local cafe. Back at the property, we grilled food, played cards by the bonfire, and had plenty of board games to choose from. The hot tub, breathtaking view, and chilled beer were just right. Everything we needed was already there, and the weather was amazing. I’d definitely return during snow season.

The hot tub was such a nice extra. I came across Tiny Homes while working in Golden for a day and stayed one night, but I’d happily return for longer. The place was clean, funky, and felt just right. Cool interior design, a comfy bed and sheets, a roomy deck, and everything we needed.

Big Air Chalet is the biggest of the tiny homes, and we loved staying there. The views were beautiful, and after walking around national parks the hot tub felt great. We found the bed comfortable and thought it was a great price for such a nice place. The nearby skybridge was a lot of fun too.

The stars through the bedroom window at night were the perfect quiet, grounding finish to our stay. My husband and I were in Cabin #2 with our two dogs, and there was plenty of room for all of us. We walked by the river, watched the dogs swim, picked up rocks, kicked a soccer ball, and hiked around the property. The big deck, smart storage, and roomy layout made us rethink whether tiny-home living with pets would feel cramped. We could imagine living in a place like this someday. We’d driven past Golden many times and now wish we’d stopped sooner. We found Golden Tiny Home on Expedia, and it gave us the peaceful late-winter break we wanted after visiting places like Kananaskis and Emerald Lake. The cabin was clean, well organized, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. We also enjoyed exploring the town, from Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge and Confluence Park along the Columbia River to Kicking Horse Coffee, shortbread at Golden Bakery & Deli, and breakfast at Papa Bear’s Kitchen. Golden felt warm and welcoming. We’re grateful for the pet-friendly design and can’t wait to come back.

After my daily hikes, I was glad to have that outdoor hot tub and its incredible view to come back to. This place made a great base for exploring the surrounding National & Provincial parks, just minutes from Golden. It had what I needed, including a really comfortable bed and a great shower. I can’t wait to return.
