The bed was a bit firm, but it didn’t take away from our stay. Mountain View Cabins was quiet and peaceful, with beautiful mountain scenery, just right for getting out of the city for a night or two. It has a rugged, rustic feel rather than a luxury resort atmosphere, so know what to expect. If you want a cozy mountain break with nature and time to relax, it’s worth it. We had a great experience, would highly recommend Mountain View Cabins, and would absolutely stay again. Five stars from us!

There was a strong dog smell in the room during our stay, coming from blankets and bedding that clearly hadn’t been washed. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the bottle of drinking water was barely filled.

Booking was easy, and there was no trouble adding an extra night. Mountain View Cabins has a youthful atmosphere and is partly run by volunteers. The facilities were clean and well stocked, but it felt more like a camp than a lodge or cabin, which makes it affordable for anyone. Guests could use a tour and clearer guidance about which items are shared.

We noticed a lot of funny touches around the place, the kind we thought only Aussies could pull off, but this place topped that. The cabin was very clean and had all the modern conveniences. Wi-Fi wasn’t promised in the room, but it was there. How often does a place underpromise and overdeliver? Great value, highly recommended.

We stayed in the cabins for three days and had a pleasant time. I didn’t expect much when I booked, but the place turned out to be really clean and organized. It was the best rate we found for our Banff trip, and the service impressed me too.
