The front desk person was lovely and even carried my case to the room. It was spacious and cool, with comfortable beds and good seating areas. The bathroom was okay, though some parts looked tired and could use an update. The noisy oil rig and industry workers upstairs woke me at 5:30 in the morning, stomping around until they left around 6:30. They also left their trucks running for ages in unusually warm weather. It's not the hotel's fault, but next time I'd book an upstairs room. The staff were great, and I would recommend the place.

We had a really nice stay at the Alpine Motel. The room was clean and roomy, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the price was reasonable. It looked a bit dated, but there was new flooring and some updates, and the beds were very comfortable. Great location and a lovely view. We'd happily stay again.

The heat was cranked up when we arrived, and there was no AC. Opening the window helped cool the room, but the area was extremely loud. Some lights were burned out or flickering, and the pillows were old and flat. Worst of all, I found two unexplained $10 charges after a one-night stay, with no call. It feels like fraud, and I included a picture as proof.

For a two-star hotel, this older place exceeded what I expected, and the beds and room were comfortable. It was $89 plus tax for the night over Canada Day weekend, while other hotels were gouging guests. I did think there might be some mold on the bathroom ceiling, but in my opinion it wasn't enough to hurt anyone.

The owners were welcoming and accommodating. They were upgrading rooms while I was there, though some furniture in my room was showing its age. The outside had recently been painted, and I saw plenty of gardening underway. At this rate, I bet it'll be the nicest hotel in Grande Cache before long.
