The bathroom was clean, and the location was great for walking to some shops. The owner left us alone, and the area on our side was quiet. But I found the room hard to recommend. We slept on top of the bed, even though the room itself smelled clean. The cooking area was so dirty we'd have had to clean everything before using it. The single burner was filthy, so I didn't use it. There were only two forks, a spoon and a butter knife, and the sponge wasn't new, at least a month old. The online listing showed a different room and supplies, but what was there seemed tossed in and very dirty. I bought eating stuff at the dollar store and got food out instead. On checkout day, while they were cleaning, we saw a white dust or mold-like film on the walls, mostly over the bed. The interior needs a full clean and the room should be set up as promised for the price of a two-night stay. They shouldn't have given out a room in that shape. I know now to ask to see a room before paying. It's a bit of a drive to sights and food, though there is some shopping within walking distance. We like motels because of the walkout, but this was the second-worst room I've stayed in because of its condition. For the same price, we've had hotels with breakfast and a fully equipped room. The value just isn't there, and it'd be hard for me to try this place again.
