We've stayed at the Future Inn for both work and personal trips and always get great service and clean rooms. This time we were there for a four-night business trip. One morning, we came out to find that all the cars in the lot had been cleared of snow. At first we thought someone had accidentally cleaned off our truck, but it was a lovely surprise. There was renovation work in the lobby, but it didn't disrupt our stay. The location works well, right off the highway and close to plenty of good restaurants and shops. You can get to downtown Halifax in 12-15 minutes, depending on traffic, and avoid the busy downtown area and its ridiculously overpriced hotels.

The room was good for the price, and the room service staff were amazing and friendly, especially with our pet. The receptionists working today, though, were unresponsive to the point of seeming rude. One was the Asian woman with short, dyed orange or dirty blonde hair, though I couldn't really tell what color it was meant to be. Otherwise, this would've been a five-star rating.

I've stayed here before without any problems. The location is pretty convoluted, but the hotel is nice. This time, though, we found blood on the bedding when we got to our room. Reception quickly called room service to change it, but they only replaced the part with blood on it. With our five-month-old baby there, I didn't feel the room had been cleaned well enough.

We had a great stay last weekend for a good price. The location was perfect for getting to events at the Canada Games sports centre and the BMO soccer centre. The staff were friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. Thanks, everyone.

The room was great, clean, and spacious enough, and the bed was good. They have a restaurant called redwood. The food was okay, but the service was superb. Reception seemed in a hurry while talking to us, though we're sure they'd be friendlier if they had more time.
