Bishop's Landing is a paved harbor-side walkway lined with shops, home decor and fashion vendors, cafes, diners, and more. As you stroll, you'll pass historical monuments, fragrant eateries, and lovely seaside views. It's an outdoor shopping area that feels trendy without being too crowded or busy. There's lots of room to walk, and kids and dogs are welcome. Along the way, you might find live entertainment and fun sidewalk chalk activities. It's near the port, so it's a good place to explore if you're in town on a cruise.

I love walking along the Halifax boardwalk. Bishops landing is fairly close to the ferry terminal, with cute stores and restaurants, and there's always something happening along the way, somewhere to sit, or somewhere to stop for a bite. Further down by Pier 21, they've recently had free dance classes. Fun! Check my other reviews for more info and pictures.

Crème is a new spot on the Halifax waterfront. A great place for coffee and delicious cake, with amazing service and a well-managed team.

Take a leisurely walk along the waterfront. There's lots to look at. We went on a midweek day in June and it wasn't too crowded, but in July, when the buskers are there, it gets really busy. Any time is a good time for a relaxed stroll.
