My husband and I have stayed here several times over the years for a nearby getaway and have never had a bad experience. On this visit we found a minor issue in our room, so I told the staff right away in hopes we could switch rooms. Husam and another woman at the desk, whose name I can’t remember but started with M, were very apologetic. They went out of their way to sort it out and make us feel comfortable and looked after. We’ll keep coming back to C by Carmen's, and I’d recommend the hotel to anyone staying in the area. Thanks to all the staff.

The wedding cake looked fabulous and tasted delicious, and the bar staff made our drinks perfectly. Our guests also said the wedding was beautiful and well organized, and they had a great time. The main course tasted delicious, though the vegetables were a little underdone. Dessert was phenomenal. We held our wedding in the dolce room at the C Hotel on Friday, November 21, 2025. The room layout was great, and everything was thoughtfully arranged. From booking through the end, there was always someone we could contact to discuss things or make changes to match what I pictured. Feyi, my wedding coordinator, helped with everything and replied to my emails quickly. Tim was our maître D on the day and kept things running smoothly and in an organized way. The hotel staff were polite and eager to please. Our efficient Tom married us perfectly, and it was easy and lovely to meet with him and have him be part of the day. After the wedding we went back to our bridal suite. It was spacious, clean, and warm, with a comfortable bed and a very relaxing Jacuzzi, 10 out of 10. We ordered breakfast room service from the hotel restaurant, and it arrived quickly, fresh, warm, and delicious. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. It was the wedding I’d imagined, thanks to everyone’s hard work. We hope to come back for an anniversary.

We arrived at 2:30 AM with two exhausted kids after flight problems delayed us badly. Chris, who I’d been texting with, was there to greet us, friendly and understanding. He gave us bottled water for free and offered a complimentary late checkout at noon. Everything was ready, so we just collected our key cards, signed a few things, and went to sleep. That kindness after such a rough flight meant a lot. The hotel had texted a day or two before arrival to ask if we needed anything at check-in. I was impressed. Our suite was clean and spacious. I’d upgraded because it was only $10 more. The kids had their own room and a huge king bed, while my husband and I had a large space with our own king bed. The shower water was turned off around 11 the next morning, but one phone call got it back on within about five minutes. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was delicious, reasonably priced, and came with great service. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip.

I was charged $50 more than the amount shown online. After the restaurant ruined my fun, I went up to the third floor at 6:30 pm, changed into sleep clothes, and put on the TV. A few minutes later, a herd of people ran through the halls on my floor and the one above. I called the front desk four times. After two and a half hours with no resolution, I came up with the idea of moving rooms myself. The top floor solved the noise. The new room had no shower door. It took more than 15 minutes for the water to get hot, then it kept changing between hot and cold, and the vent didn’t work. I ordered breakfast in my room because I figured the herd of 12-year-old girls and one 9-year-old would be in the restaurant. The meal wasn’t what I ordered. After two unanswered calls, someone knocked and brought it. It was cold and greasy, with wilted lettuce. The restaurant called about 20 minutes later and comped it, which was fair since I’d only eaten a bit. Baci Restaurant gets its own review. This was by far my worst hotel and restaurant stay.

The bugs were awful, and the room was so dirty that I’d give cleanliness zero stars if I could. Both beds had what looked like blood stains on the linens. The towels had what looked like diarrhea stains, hidden in the folds until we opened them after a shower. Candy wrappers were stuffed in the hair dryer bag under the counter. When we moved the microwave, years of grime were underneath, and cockroaches and silverfish ran out. We were there because a wedding was being held in the adjacent venue, and the problems began the day before it. The state of the room scarred my child. At check-in there was no parking, so we were told to use the unsecured lot across the street. There we were told to move the car because it wasn’t registered, even though that plate had been registered online and confirmed at check-in. The hotel let anyone stay on the property. On Saturday night, a couple of drug addicts who weren’t guests harassed me out back, so I had to stay in the overcrowded front area for the rest of my short stay. The same thing happened in the lot across the street where we’d been told to leave our car. The thermostat wouldn’t hold its setting and raised the temperature overnight, overheating everyone. Refreshment options were limited, though our server was amazing. We tried to raise the issues, but were repeatedly dismissed. My partner was told they couldn’t discuss them with him because he hadn’t made the reservation, even though it was for three people. Other guests reported similar problems and were told they couldn’t move because the hotel was full. The hotel made no effort to fix our experience after we left Sunday night, after just one of our booked two nights, or after I completed their customer service survey. The only response I got was, “This isn’t up to our standards.” My family felt disregarded and scarred by the stay. We spent nearly $500 and would have been better off at a motel for half the price. I’m disappointed by the condition of the hotel and the lack of accountability for the problems it caused. Especially with prices as they are, don’t spend your money somewhere that doesn’t care about your experience or try to put things right. I’d be happy to amend this review if someone from the hotel rectifies what happened.
