Hotel le Coach

Rasheed was a terrific host throughout my stay, friendly, professional, and attentive to what I needed. His warm manner gave the experience a personal touch. The staff clearly care about welcoming guests, and the service was outstanding. Arriving was easy: check-in was quick, so I could settle in after traveling without a hassle. Check-out was just as smooth. I had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. I'd recommend this hotel for comfortable accommodation and great hospitality.

The most memorable part of our Montreal trip was the people at Hotel Le Coach. We stayed in two rooms, and when we needed to move on the third day, which was my birthday, the receptionist came to help with our luggage. Before that, he had offered to try to keep us in the same room so we wouldn't be inconvenienced. He greeted us each day, suggested good restaurants, and, knowing I'm a beginner learning French, made a point of having little conversations with me so I could practice. I think he was from Tunisia and had braided hair. Another receptionist on the night shift, from Algeria, was just as warm and helpful. After checkout I realized I'd left my Samsung smartwatch in the room. I was worried because it's expensive, but the staff stayed in touch. I asked if they could courier it home and said I'd pay the shipping, yet they mailed it the very next day and didn't charge me anything. Who does that nowadays? May God bless these wonderful people. I wish there were more like them. The stay was amazing, with no issues, and their kindness made it unforgettable.

That early arrival after a long bus ride could have been rough, but the man at reception was so kind and accommodating. He really went out of his way for me. I don’t usually write hotel reviews, but the service and value here deserve one, and I’m already looking forward to coming back in June. My room was comfortable, with soft pillows and a cozy comforter, plus a fridge and smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. There’s good coffee downstairs, a corner store right beside the hotel, and a grocery store and metro nearby. Most of the main attractions are walkable too. I loved my first visit to Montreal. Thanks again! :)

We slept really well each night, thanks to a comfortable bed. The metro is right next door, and it’s a transfer station with access to all the lines we needed. The owner was friendly, and we enjoyed talking with him about his time living in Tunisia, Italy, and Montréal. He also made great coffee and bagels. Thanks for being so welcoming!
