Sheraton Hamilton Hotel

The corner room was quiet, with a clean, comfortable bed, and the staff were very nice. It was cold, though, because the heat didn’t seem to work. The living room curtains wouldn’t close all the way, and the pretty electric fireplace didn’t add much warmth. The spa tub worked well for a hot soak, but it was slippery and hard to get in and out of. The hotel was busy, so the elevators took a long time. We were told the stairs to upper floors were for emergencies only, which would help keep guests safe.

The staff were terrific. On the night of our show at TD Coliseum, there was a queue for the elevator, and a kind employee took a group of us to a hidden elevator. The hotel is ideally located for a show there, and I’d absolutely recommend it for arena events. There are many homeless people nearby, which can be uncomfortable, but the hotel isn’t responsible for that. Proper government support could address it.

We had a spacious, comfortable room on the concierge level, and the lounge was a nice perk, especially since it stayed open all weekend. Most Marriotts close their lounges Friday through Sunday. The staff and food service were good, and the food was tasty. The hotel is central and has great views of downtown. My one complaint is the parking lot, which has low ceilings.

Our wedding weekend at the Sheraton was wonderful, from Solomon at the front door making us feel cared for when we arrived to the warm, attentive front desk team who kept everything running smoothly. Michael P., our coordinator, made sure all the details were handled seamlessly, and the handwritten note was a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot on such an important day. After a long, emotional day, our spotless and comfortable rooms were a welcome retreat. The team’s professionalism, kindness, and personal touches made the stay memorable. We’re very grateful they made our special weekend even better, and highly recommend the Sheraton.
