Visitors Inn

We took a one night trip to this hotel to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The stay and amenities were great, but after checking out at 11am, my wife realized she’d left her engagement ring on the table in our room. We had both seen it there. When we called an hour after checkout, the hotel said nothing had been found. We searched through our things four times and called back multiple times, but kept being told nothing was found. This trip cost us over $9,000 for one night, and the rings had been left on the table in the middle of the room. It’s very disheartening because we know they were there. We definitely won’t return.

The rooms and lobby were very clean, and the service was friendly. There’s a pool, hot tub, and restaurant, with prices that are very competitive for similar hotels. Breakfast service was a little slow because the restaurant seemed slightly short staffed that morning. I highly recommend this hotel.

The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was clean, though the carpet looked dated. There was only one USB charging port in the room, and it wasn’t near the bed, which is inconvenient for travelers now. The front desk clerk kindly offered to let us use his plus at the desk. It’s a nice hotel, but I’m not sure I would’ve picked it if I hadn’t been able to use points.

Visitors Inn is well located for the Hamilton area and reasonably priced, with parking included. It’s very clean throughout, and the friendly staff make for an easy, stress free stay. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast and dinner.
