The restaurant was a standout, great value and really friendly service. The room was clean and comfortable for the price, though a little dated, and the pillows felt flat enough to need replacing. The bar looks great after its recent renovation. I did wonder if the draught called “Canadian” was actually Goose Juice house lager.

I’ve booked motel rooms regularly for forty years, and I’ve never had a place handle a reservation like this. I booked a summer stay through Booking.com last February. Two months later, they emailed to say they’d canceled it, then offered the very same room again for ten dollars more. I hit “no thank you” and promptly booked across the street for thirty-five dollars more instead. I’d rather pay extra elsewhere than deal with people at the canada grey motel who seem this sketchy.

Rhonda is amazing, but this is a very caustic workplace. The coffee is the worst in Alberta.

The portions were huge, and the food was so delicious. I stopped in Hannah craving a homemade meal, and Canada Grey came through. The person serving us brought our drinks right away, took our order, and got the food out shortly after. He was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend Canada Grey!
