West View Motel

For one night, the price was right. It was very clean, and the newer beds were super comfortable with great bedding. The rooms are dated and not fully updated, and this feels more like a working crew motel than a vacation spot. Still, as a place to sleep for a night, it was good.

The owners are so nice, and we enjoyed our stay. Rooms are super basic, but for the low price in Hanna, it gets the job done. They’re quiet and pretty clean, and the AC works. Nothing more to ask for!

The place was friendly, the room was clean, and the beds were comfy. Nothing fancy, but no complaints. Just a heads-up: the 114 front door could use a little servicing so it closes better.

Check-out is at 10 am, and the room was extremely overpriced and understocked. We had to ask for a coffee pot. There was no thermostat, so the heat was either blasting or it was blasting cold. The sheets were dirty. I showed the owner the matching spill on both the top and bottom sheets, but he insisted they weren’t dirty. There was mildew around the top of the tub surround, no phone, and no drawer with the usual tourist information. A strange device was plugged into an outlet. I tried googling it and found nothing. The owner said it controlled the heat, which was hard to believe, since the heat blasted all night and the floor stayed ice cold, while the device was plugged in close to the floor. When I said the room was overpriced, he blamed the town for setting the prices. This place doesn’t even deserve the one star I gave it.
