Canadiana Motel

The rooms smelled awful, with the pool right beside them and no windows to open. We booked two queen rooms but got one queen and one double, and the curtains, furniture and sheets were stained with who knows what. At check-in, the woman didn't have the keys ready and used her master key to let us in because the computer was too slow. Staff were hard to find and didn't answer when I called about check-in or check-out. When they did show up, they barely acknowledged us. A horrible stay.

It's a complete dump. Between the bugs, smells and noise, you'd be better off sleeping in your vehicle. Stay away.

I wouldn't give this place a star if I could. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and seemed more interested in charging fees than offering any hospitality. Getting the Wi-Fi password took a runaround, and it still barely worked. The room was filthy, with dirty sheets and a bathroom that looked as if it hadn't been scrubbed in months. The toilet was grimy, there was a strong smoke and mold smell, and the air felt heavy and disgusting. We went outside regularly to smoke, which was clearly caught on camera, but still got charged a smoking fee for the room. We were so anxious and disgusted by the conditions that we didn't stay the night, yet we paid full price, lost the deposit, and were charged an extra-person fee because a friend stayed a couple of hours late at night. The worst motel experience I've had. Greedy, dirty and dishonest. Avoid Motel Canadiana. This place feels like a health hazard and a scam.

I couldn't bring myself to sleep there and left after a few hours. It was the grossest room I've ever stayed in, run down and beat up, with stains everywhere. It was obvious it hadn't been cleaned.
