Banff Woods lodge

The condo was clean and worked perfectly for our group, and its location suited skiing at Banff and Lake Louise Ski Resorts. But the icy parking lot was dangerous throughout our eight days and seven nights. Someone should be hired to salt, sand, or scrape it, or the Lodge should do that itself. I'm 68 and in good shape, but I fell while walking to the car one morning. I was lucky not to break anything, and others might not be. As a Safety Professional, I think the ice around the whole complex needs to be addressed before someone gets hurt.

The unit felt like a home away from home, with the amenities you'd expect in a home, and checking in virtually with the representative, Jason, was easy and convenient. It's an apartment style place and a good base for Banff and the surrounding attractions. This was a late booking after our first reservation was canceled because the hotel was overbooked, but we were glad to find this spot in the Rockies.

I stayed in May 2026. The balcony view was tremendous, and it was easy to get to other scenic spots. The townhouse was very clean and nice, and the price was okay.

We stayed in lodge #210 in August 2025. It was quiet, which I appreciated, but not comfortable. The furniture quality disappointed me: the sofa bed mattress was broken, the upstairs beds were very soft, and the toaster didn't work. In the room my husband and I used, there was a useless open space in the wall, about 3 by 4 feet. A closet pole and door could have made it useful, since we had nowhere to hang our clothes.
