The grounds are so peaceful and spacious, lovely for a walk. Inside, the rooms and shared spaces feel comfortable and thoughtfully put together. From the warm welcome to the tasty breakfast and helpful tips about the area, everything made the stay feel special. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back!

We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the memorable croissants made with local ingredients. The owners were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help us, and since they both speak English fluently, they cheerfully helped out with our rusty French. Our room was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and had enough lighting and outlets, with good WiFi. Parking was easy, and the attractive shared rooms offered several nice places to read, chat, or sit by the fire.

The real highlight was getting to know Marc and Jean-Martin, two lovely men building a dream and putting unusual care into their guests' stay. Their home is spotless and tastefully decorated, and the breakfast felt Michelin caliber. You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. In a time when service can feel hard to find, they offer something special. Five stars are an easy call.

Marc & Jean-Martin made our stay wonderful, and their home is a beautiful, welcoming place to spend time. My wife, our 3-month old son, and I loved it. Getting around on foot may be tricky: the road is narrow, has little lighting at night, and no sidewalks. It seems like a good area for biking, and driving into North Hatley or elsewhere for the day worked fine for us.

We slept so well in our spotless, spacious room, especially thanks to the very comfortable mattress. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully served, and generously portioned. Marc and Jean-Martin were warm and attentive, sharing the home's history and interesting details about North Hatley, along with local recommendations that added a lot to our visit. The house is lovely and well cared for, with a calm, welcoming feel. Ralph, their sweet dog, saw us off, and we spotted several deer wandering through the backyard. We had an amazing night at Auberge la Raveaudière and would pick it again over Manoir Hovey without hesitation. If we're back in the Eastern Townships, this will be our first choice.
