High Prairie Inn

The rooms were clean but basic, and I could hear guests above and beside me. Service was just okay. The person who checked me in was friendly and helpful. The next morning, the person at checkout barely acknowledged my good morning, didn't look up, and couldn't be found when I wanted my receipt.

The garbage was overflowing, with trash on the counter and all over the bathroom. I booked a non-smoking room but was put in a smoking room, with a used ashtray and cigarette butts on the floor. The bedding was piled on the bed for me to make it myself. I went back to the desk. The guy didn't seem surprised or care, and said it was all they had. I left. So gross, I wish I could add pictures.

I stayed for two nights and they still haven't returned my damage deposit, even though I didn't damage anything in the room. Customer service was really bad and they wasted my time. Never recommended. They deserve negative 100.

I've only been to the restaurant, and the food was very delicious. The staff were great, and the cook came out to explain exactly what was in our choices. I've tried the wings and fish n chips so far; my husband had the steak and said he'd definitely go back. This could be our date night spot.
