Canalta Humboldt

Even when the hotel was really busy during our last stay, everyone stayed friendly and pleasant, including the morning kitchen team when they all got slammed at once. We’ve stayed here more than once, and check-in is always seamless. The front desk staff provide fantastic customer service and are always friendly and helpful.

The room was near several pee wee hockey teams, and the kids were very rambunctious without parental supervision. The hallway outside my room got loud and disturbing. I called the front desk three times about the debauchery. The hotel should have stricter rules for parental guidance and quiet hours for groups like this, so other paying guests can rest and enjoy their stay. I had an unexpected two-day stay at the Canalta in Humboldt, and the staff were welcoming and helpful about accommodating me on short notice. They were very friendly and customer service oriented. The hotel and my room were clean and well maintained, and the bed and pillows were comfortable.

I kept waking up through the night, thinking morning had come. We were on the 4th floor, and bright green lights outside shone through a half-moon window above the main window, even with the light-blocking curtains shut. The queen bed was also incredibly hard, and my hips ached by morning. The room itself was very clean, and the staff at Humboldt Canalta, both at the front desk and in the breakfast area, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was filling. Otherwise, it was a good experience, and I appreciated the clean room and friendly staff.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the pool area was nice and clean too. The hot tub is big. At the front desk there are family games, and breakfast was fantastic, with breakfast burritos made with good scrambled eggs, sausage pieces, fresh cheese, green onion, and salsa. There were waffles and all the usual breakfast food as well. Definitely the best hotel in Humboldt, and one of the best hotels, period. The staff do an excellent job running it.
