Comfort Inn and Suites Ingersoll

We've stayed here three times over the past seven years and would book again next time we're in the area. The hotel looks dated from outside, but our King Suite had been updated and felt modern, with lots of space, comfortable furniture, and good appliances. It was all very clean, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was great and we had no other issues. The new shower was very slippery, though, and really needs a grip mat. The windows were quite dirty, but they were being cleaned during our last night.

We needed a late checkout, and the staff kindly let us stay until 1PM. They were helpful, polite, and professional the whole time. At first, the bathroom sink leaked and the shower pressure was very low, but after we told the front desk, they responded quickly and moved us to another room without any trouble. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed for three days, and appreciated how well the staff handled the initial maintenance problems.

We went two days without hot water for showers, starting the night before, because apparently no technicians would work on Sundays and there was no plumbing company near Ingersoll available then. No compensation was offered. We just got an apology for the inconvenience and the manager's email in case we didn't like the policy. What a wonderful stay, obviously joking. Be careful staying here.

The hotel was pretty comfortable, but be aware that there is no pool. We booked for a party and planned to swim the next morning, only to be told the pool had been renovated into a breakfast room. The pool still appears in the hotel's pictures, which made it feel like they were trying to scam people. Please keep that in mind before booking.
