The coffee in the room was so bad it almost put me off coming back, but this was otherwise a great place for a hockey tournament. The rooms were comfortable, and everyone was friendly. Parking was easy and the restaurant was decent. The kids loved the bouncy castle with the DJ, and the mini sticks arena was a fun touch. The indoor pool and hot tub were excellent, and the outdoor pool had a real grotto feel. The whole place is picturesque. Sort out the coffee and it’d be an easy 10/10 tournament spot.

This last visit was special because we lost my dad last fall and my mom needed a getaway. We upgraded, and the welcome packages with fresh charcuterie and fruit trays were amazing. We’ve stayed here about six times and love that it’s dog friendly. The suite lets us bring my mom or my in-laws, and they have rollaway cots that fit at the foot of the master bed for our five-year-old. The heated outdoor pool is a must, summer or winter, 5/5. We also recommend the Station Pub. They welcome our little man and the food was amazing. I had steak tacos, probably the best I’ve ever had. We love the old Salzburg in Radium too.

After a day skiing, the outdoor hot tub is the best place to unwind, and I always end up having interesting conversations with Canadian and American visitors. I travel alone, and the standard room works fine for me. I booked the Stay & Ski package for two hotel nights and two Panorama lift tickets. Thanks for another great stay at the Copper Point Resort. Special thanks to Lauchlin, Sky and Sophie in the restaurant bar. They’re wonderful and always make me feel welcome. I’ll be back in summer to golf.

Our daughter loved it and is already asking when we can go back. We’ve visited a few times over the past 10+ years, and the service has been exceptional then and now. The rooms and amenities matched what was promised. Staff were kind, easy to deal with, and almost fun. They can accommodate most things if you let them know early enough. We’ll absolutely return when we can.

The rooms were okay, but there were serious heating problems. The baseboard heaters ran full blast, and poor maintenance made them feel like a fire hazard. The electric fireplaces meant to provide heat didn’t work. We booked a two-bedroom with a loft, but the kitchen was seriously under-equipped, like they weren’t ready for guests. Front desk staff didn’t know much about some hotel amenities, and the TV in our room was garbage. You couldn’t see the puck in the gold metal game. This hotel has a long way to go to sort out its problems.
