Invermere Inn

I was very disappointed with how dirty the hotel was, and it’s way overpriced for what you get. In the first room, there was an open bar of soap on the floor and stains on the sheets and desk. We asked to switch, but the front desk person didn’t seem to care that the room was messy. The next room had a stained towel and dust and cobwebs on the ceiling. The carpets were stained and the walls dirty, and the hotel needs serious repairs and cleaning. At checkout I tried to complain, but the front desk person wasn’t listening because the phone was ringing. She dismissed me and didn’t care to hear me out. I’ll never come back.

The inn is a little dated and the rooms are on the small side, though comfortable enough. I’d give everything five stars except the rooms, which are more like four. There’s no breakfast included, but we enjoyed a great breakfast place right next door. Our stay at the Invermere Inn & Suites was good overall. It was quiet and the location is excellent, right in the center of town and just a short walk from Kinsmen Beach, making it very convenient. A solid choice for a stay in Invermere.

The rooms are large and pretty standard, with a mini fridge and microwave, and there’s a nice selection of snacks for sale at the front desk. There’s ample parking, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is such a great feature, with shops, restaurants, and services all an easy walk away, plus an easy stroll to a beautiful lake and mountain view. It’s a little pricey for what it is, but that’s the only con. Sorry, I forgot to take photos when we arrived, so the room looks a little messy.

The upstairs guests woke me at 6am, walking around like elephants, so I called the front desk. The service was great and very friendly. The place is convenient, with clean, well-maintained rooms, and it’s super dog friendly. They even gave my dog a loot bag. Such a great place, I’ll definitely be back 😊
