Caruso's Accommodation

For two nights, it was quiet enough for us, and the room gave us a good night's sleep before skiing. My wife and I were heading to Marmot and needed somewhere affordable, so I sorted by price and Caruso'''s came up first. I booked, then read the reviews and got nervous. It turned out not too bad. It’s a house with a basement where three rooms are rented to tenants. The rooms are small and basic. There’s a microwave, but the stove is non-operating. The walls are thin, so noisy neighbors could be a problem. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a cheap option.

The room was very clean and comfortable. I just found the note on the door telling me where my room was a bit impersonal. I didn’t feel at ease going into their house without a more personal invitation.

For the price, I’d give it 4 stars. It’s one of those Jasper houses split into small separate rooms, each with a bathroom, kitchen, bed, and TV. Nothing fancy, but it was very, very clean, and the host and her daughter were accommodating.

The basement of this house has three rooms. Ours was clean and nice, with a private bathroom, TV, little fridge, and wifi. Good place to stay, and the location is excellent.
