We had a newborn with us, so the cold in room 8 was a serious problem. A strong draft came right through the door, and the bathroom window leaked air around the AC. We could feel a breeze while sitting on the bed. The room was freezing, and I hate to think how it would be in snow or harsher winter weather. We called the front desk, and the friendly, helpful guy brought us a portable heater, but we changed accommodations the next day both because of the cold and because there isn't much near the motel. We couldn't get the second night refunded since it was too close to the booking date to cancel. It was a cheap room, though, so it didn't break the bank. If you can put up with those issues and want a low-cost stay, it may work for you. I wouldn't choose it in winter, especially with a baby. We'd booked two nights for an appointment in Fredericton, and the front desk was accommodating when we said we'd arrive around 9 pm. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice. There was a mini fridge and coffee maker, but the TV was tiny and I couldn't adjust its very low volume. The room also had a door draft and a leaky bathroom window with an AC, which seem like fixable sources of wasted electricity.

The room was basic, but that wasn't what let me down. I found about 15 earwigs on the floor, some dead and some alive, and even spotted two inside the covers when I checked the bed before going to sleep. The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while, with barefoot marks all over it. A quick extra check of the room before guests arrive, or some simple bug spray, might have prevented this. I feel bad leaving a negative review because I did enjoy parts of my stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful when I arrived, the location and price were convenient, and the bed was comfy. Still, the lack of cleanliness was a big disappointment.

They'd already put a dog blanket on one of the beds when we arrived with our dog. The service was courteous and helpful too. Great place for a night, and we'd definitely come back.

The shower was good and the beds were really comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet spot and seems to have been renovated recently. I'd highly recommend it for a stay with family or friends.

Our room had a beautiful view of the river, and the location was amazing. The rooms were clean and tidy, the beds comfortable, and staff were available around the clock. There was a range of drinks and a breakfast kit, and both check-in and checkout were smooth.
