It’s an old place, and although our room was clean, the carpet looked pretty stained. I didn’t see or smell the things other people mentioned. If I’d been traveling with someone sensitive and picky, I probably would’ve heard plenty of complaints. For about $70 for two people and two beds, it wasn’t too bad.

There were roaches and rodents. Staying here was a waste of money, and I’d give it zero stars if I could.

I understand the residents were asked to leave, and I went to thank Frank for how he treated one resident close to me. He’s compassionate, caring, and understanding, and an exceptional person who really cares about the residents. Frank, I hope things go well wherever your next job takes you. Thank you for being who you are ❤️

Around 2am I got up to use the bathroom, turned on the light, and saw something strange scurrying across the floor. I screamed, and my boyfriend got up and killed it. Then he spotted another one on the wall by the picture and killed that too. In the morning, another one crawled out from between the mattress. I was already so uneasy that I’d slept in my jacket, jeans, and shoes, and we spent the rest of the night with the lights on. Later I found out they were filthy cockroaches. We’d arrived about a week earlier to book a room. The woman at the front desk asked if we had bed bugs. We said no, that was what we were worried about, and she reassured us about three times that evening that there were no bugs in the motel. When we showed her the dead ones in the morning, she yelled at us, swore, and called us names. We hadn’t even asked for our money back yet. It was extremely unprofessional and ignorant. I was totally grossed out and disgusted. Burn that place to the ground!

The bed was comfortable, but traffic outside kept going and I was worried about roaches getting into bed, so sleeping was hard. A cup of tea nearly caught fire in the microwave when it broke, and the cockroaches living underneath scattered. The heater wasn’t turned on during sunny winter days, and the manager was a drunk.
