Lake Dalrymple Resort

Cottage 11 had a really nice fire table, which was handy since the fire pit is shared. It was quiet and great for families, with lovely views and sunsets. The kids loved fishing and jumping off the dock, and they were catching fish every few seconds. Bring water shoes for the beach. We had a blast and hope to return next year. The kids would love more water toys, especially a water trampoline and a replacement mat, since the water mat was ripped. Jumping off the dock was their favorite.

I stayed in #4 at Lake Dalrymple Resort a few weeks ago for a much-needed break. The little cabin was cozy and just right for 1-3 people, almost like a studio apartment. It was clean, and the property was well cared for. The staff were so kind. The store has everything you need, and the sunsets were spectacular. I’m already planning to come back next year.

My husband’s family has been coming for 60+ years, and it’s lovely to share this place with the younger generations. It works especially well for large families renting several cottages to spend time together. The rates are reasonable, but bring your own linens. The cottages generally have what you need for a week, and the friendly staff are available during working hours. The lake is weedy, so I recommend water shoes for everyone. Fishing is great, the sunsets are beautiful, and the chipmunks, squirrels, blue jays and other birds love shelled peanuts. See you next summer LDR!

lake dalrymple resort is such a cute little vacation get away, and the business is amazing too. Molly and Belle were especially kind and attentive. They answered all our questions and even became our friends! There are lots of different activities to help guests have an easy, fun stay. I had the best time and wish I could give it a 1000000 rating. I’ll definitely be back and recommending it to friends and family. Already planning my next visit.
